General Member Course

This course covers the fundamental principles of safety for students participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Participants will learn how to protect themselves and others in the shop, during events, and while handling tools, equipment, and materials. Emphasis is placed on proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), understanding chemical safety, and responding to emergencies.
