AV CORE
Strengthening the Aerospace Valley through Collaboration and Innovation.
The vision.
Before AV C.O.R.E., many students in the Antelope Valley lacked access to high-level robotics. By partnering with the Antelope Valley Union High School District (AVUHSD), we’ve removed institutional barriers to ensure that every student, regardless of their home school, has a place in FIRST.
The Alliance: 3 Teams, 1 Mission
We aren't just neighbors; we are a support system. AV C.O.R.E. unites three local FRC teams to share resources, knowledge, and passion:
Team 399: Eagle Robotics (Lancaster HS)
Team 5869: QHHS Aqueducks
Team 7606: The Blackbirds (Highland HS)
What C.o.r.e Provides
Sustained Funding: Secured district support for registration fees, travel expenses, and high-end shop equipment.
Expert Mentorship: Funding for dedicated tutors and mentors—many of whom are Team 399 Alumni giving back to the next generation.
Open Doors: Students whose schools don't have a team are welcomed into our programs or mentored FTC teams, ensuring no one is left out of the STEM pipeline.
Growth: We provide the blueprint and resources for neighboring schools to launch their own sustainable robotics programs.
Through this, the AV C.O.R.E. developed, allowing us to support and start up robotics teams in our area as well as develop 3 new robotics classes.
