Overview

MSDS (often called SDS or Safety Data Sheets) provide detailed safety information about chemicals used in the workshop, like lubricants, adhesives, and cleaning agents.

  • Identifies chemical hazards (flammable, toxic, corrosive)

  • Lists safe handling and storage procedures

  • Explains what to do in case of spills or exposure

  • Includes required PPE for each substance

  • Provides first aid instructions specific to the chemical

  • Must be accessible for all materials used in the workshop
